Jim Leonard II is the Principal and visionary behind Waabooyaan. As a member of the Rainy River First Nations in Ontario, Jim has spent much of his career in politics. Jim’s strong interest in history and family ties have led him on the journey of bringing the past into the present. Waabooyaan is Jim’s way of honouring all First Nations people.
Jim has also brought together a team of experts to ensure that each Waabooyaan represents the quality of the name. From historians and engineers, to carpenters and fine sewing experts, Jim’s team ensures integrity and dignity with each burial wrap.
